Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FOP Yaroslav Rozumnyi (“MarketPulse”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use trading-edge.app and related services. We act as the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign up with Google, we receive your email and basic profile from Google.
  • Usage & content — the searches, filters and saved searches you create inside the app.
  • Payment data — handled by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as Merchant of Record. We receive subscription status and invoice metadata, but not your full card number.
  • Technical & analytics data — IP address, device/browser information and product-usage events, collected only where you have consented (see our Cookie Policy).
  • Consent records — the version of these policies you accepted and the time you accepted them.

2. How and why we use it (legal bases)

  • To provide and secure the service and your account — performance of a contract.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent fraud — contract and legitimate interests.
  • To send product/marketing email, where you opted in — consent, withdrawable at any time.
  • For analytics and product improvement — consent, via the cookie banner.
  • To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with (processors)

We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement:

  • Paddle — payments, billing and tax (Merchant of Record).
  • Google — optional sign-in and, where consented, analytics.
  • DigitalOcean — application and database hosting.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS and DDoS/security protection.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some processors may store or process data outside your country, including outside the EEA/UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and content data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example billing/tax records) to meet legal obligations.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise most of these directly from your account settings (export your data, delete your account, manage marketing and cookie preferences), or by contacting us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Security

We protect data in transit with TLS, store passwords using strong one-way hashing, and apply access controls on the backend. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the relevant authority of any breach as required by law.

8. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and we will update the “Last updated” date above.

10. Contact
